Spark by Hilton Smithfield I-95

I'm not real big on leaving reviews but when you enter an establishment the first person you interact with let's you know how things will go and with this being said is the reason I am leaving my review . We were driving back from FL to NJ and just needed a place to sleep until we continued our trip home so my husband found this place on line we booked and arrived . He went in and he came out so happy he said Wow her customer service was really great she was so friendly so caring made him feel at home . So now he's at the car we are grabbing our bags we head inside and she welcomed us with such a warm heart she was so happy and asking as questions asked how we were doing offered us some goodie bags and told us if we needed anything feel free to let her know . We headed up to our room and was so surprised how clean and cute the room was I just had to call the front desk and let her know how happy we were with our room she was so happy and bubbly. So I'm not sure who goes over these reviews but one thing I will say I do hope that AMBERS Boss reads this review and realizes that he has an excellent employee at his establishment and she definitely makes you feel very welcomed which is very important . So thank you so much AMBER if we take another road trip we will definitely stay again ( Thanks for the compliment on my hair the long teal & blonde braids )

Should be called Sparse. Rooms nice, not over furnished. Simple breakfest but gets the job done. We stayed on the way to Florida, and then again on the way back home. I would stay again.

Just had the opportunity to stay at this hotel while traveling to NY from Florida. It’s conveniently located just off I95, and absolutely immaculate. Staff is kind and accommodating. The included breakfast is quick and convenient before hoping back on the road. I would highly recommend this hotel and will definitely be staying again whenever I drive back up!

Very clean rooms with nice, clean and comfortable beds! Plenty of hot water and a nice breakfast spread that included oatmeal and healthy toppings. My son enjoyed the bagel bar. Finally, the location was very convenient if you’re traveling on I-95. Would stay here again!

Wonderful hotel with friendly staff and excellent rooms. The beds were clean and comfy, the rooms were quiet, the towels were perfectly fluffy. The breakfast was good, if not a bit lacking in options. The bagel bar had three types of bagels and a fridge full of cream cheese, butter, and hard boiled eggs. There was also yogurt and a cereal dispenser. I would love to see some more protein options, like scrambled eggs, or variety like waffles, but I understand that the point of the Spark is to keep costs low. There's no gym and no office center, the pool was out of service but it wasn't a deal breaker. There was ample parking and the hotel was overall, very quiet. 10/10 would recommend and very reasonably priced for our stay.

Fabulous stay! GREAT VALUE ! Clean room, super comfy beds & pillows, perfect air-conditioning. It was really sweet to get a welcome message on the TV when entering our room. Yummy breakfast!! There was a relaxed vibe at the hotel. Family friendly, colorful and fresh. Arcelli, at the front desk, was very helpful. By mistake, my son left his air pod in the room and the staff helped find it and mail it back to our home with the help of UPS. Thanks again! Best, Stacy from Connecticut

The most friendly and personable staff of any hotel we’ve ever stayed at by far! Clean, great continental breakfast, 24 hour free coffee and tea bar, small grocery section not overly priced, and very economical for rates! We highly recommend!!!

This was our 3rd stay in a Spark and we had a great time! Two things we noticed: There were cordless phone chargers on both the desk and the nightstand. That's the first time we've seen them in ANY hotel and it ought to be a standard feature - it IS 2025, after all! And also - we liked the oversized luggage carts. Not only did it make moving our stuff in and out easier, but it does NOT fit into the room door. Although I never did pull a cart into my room anywhere, this ensures that nobody else does either, making it more likely I'll find a cart downstairs when I need it. Also the staff was delightful, evening, overnight, and day shift. My only concern is that if my review is too positive, it'll be considered a "Spark Plug". :-)
